themongoose
I installed a screen protector for my phone recently and with it they included this small flexible rubber squeegee. Seems kind of a waste for one use in terms of the phone but I quickly thought of a great way to reuse it again and again. The standard spreaders that I use on automotive work are just too stiff. I've also tried credit cards with some luck but the putty tends to stick to them. This one is really a soft, flexible, rubber. It was for a Kindle with the 8" screen if you look for one. G-Man
If you let the automotive spreaders soak in laquer thinner, they will become quite flexible. It will also remove the stuck filler from the spreader. An auto body tech I used to work with did this all the time, enabling him to reuse the same spreaders over and over.
