I'm truly enjoying your article, Kent- cheers! One question- the canopy framing was internal, with the plexiglass panels attached with screws. Do you really want raised frames?

Hmm... I just had a quick look at the kit glass (which has raised frames, so I assumed it had to be like that)

I will have to look into this, but I think your right, many thanks!

This time I used crash forming with a wooden template, because of the shape of the landing skid.

So, the last couple of days I have been working on the nacelles of engines no 3 & 4 .

using the same method of creating a silicone mold and casting resin copy's.

They are the largest parts I've done thus far and I wasn't sure if it would be possible at all.

But the castings turned out OK, although some puttying and sanding was required, to get them looking as the originals...
