But if it's about the filler.I sand that down with wet-sanding paper.

 

Ah ok. For most putty, you can dissolve it back with acetone nail polish remover if you don't want to sand a lot or you want to preserve detail that you'd otherwise destroy with sandpaper.

Looks good so far!

 

 

Painting the  plane overall white might not be such a good idea.

 

I gave a coat of satin white yesterday and the Revell Plasto I used to fill the gabs still shows through.

 

Adding more coats won't help .There will still be a colour differance.

 

Will have to come up with a different paintsheme. Could even be a "Luft '46"

 

 

Every try maybe a white primer out of the rattle can?  The Tamiya primer I use always does a wonderful job of covering up such color differences, and you would not have to shoot much actual white color on it to get good saturation as well.
