Thanks Kev!

I think im actually good on ref's for this one as I dont intend to go full gonzo on it....yet.

Im puzzled to on the mould seam, but the red line I drew on it is exactly what would need to change out for a bubble top.

Who know, but that seam MUST go.

I did a test fit on the engine panel and it fits surprisingly well given all the others I've done on old revell kits.

I must see if my example has that moulded copyright stamp on it. My recollection is that this kit is older than 1982, so perhaps this is something that Lodela added to the moulds. My challenge in verifying it is that my copy of the kit is buried so deep in my stash, that I'd have to dismantle half of it to get to it!

The Valiant Wings book should prove very useful indeed, Shawn.

Funnily enough I took this shot this afternoon after I'd cut off the elevators, so mine's 1973:

I had this old boxing (several times), but unfortunately sold it some time back. Sooner or later, I'll have to grab another.

Good start! :)

Shawn

Nice start for sure. Nothing like Revell adding it's claim of ownership.

Keep 'em coming

You think those old decals are still of any use?
