I'm in.  Going to build mine as an AD-3 stationed at K-3 Airbase (Pohang), 1952.  I'm mixing the AD-4 and AD-7 kits to get what I need, plus some AM bits.

Welcome to the Group Build Tim!  Looking forward to seeing your pictures and watching your progress. I was hoping we'd have at least ONE Skyraider!  Now my Marine Panther wont feel so lonely  :)

All the best to you and your build,

 Paul

Some progress.

I added Eduard PE bits to jazz up the engine.  Never have understood why so many kits just leave out the ignition harness stuff.

Cockpit.  This is a bit dark.  Will have to take some more pix.  This is the Aires replacement for the AD-4 plus some Eduard  pre-colored instruments stuff integrated into it.

Got the fuselage together.   (Pix shortly).  Was having a really bad time with the instrument panel and shroud...had to get creative with putty but I think it'll work in the end.

Not sure what I did...probably trimmed away too much resin and plastic.

Not that THAT ever happens!

Thanks!  Fuselage is together now along with the horizontal stabilizers.

Working on the wings/wheel wells.  Will take some pix shortly and get them up here.

Bought two bottles of Dark Sea Blue.  I don't think one will be enough!   :piliot:
