LSP_K2
I'm glad to have rediscovered this list, and this time I bookmarked it.
LSP_K2
Fisher ones are the only correct ones. Contact Resine also did a set, but how accurate they are/were, I have no idea, plus they're virtually impossible to find.
crobinsonh
I have a set somewhere but like most/all Contact Resine wheels they seem be way to soft. LSP_K2
thierry laurent
There were at least three aftermarket sets of wheels for the F-105 but the Fisher is the only accurate one as it is based on the dimensions of an actual wheel rather than on the kit parts ones. Good to know, as there was a brand new set of M&P wheels/tires in the kit I just purchased (plus two Eduard sets and a full sheet of Zotz decals). ROM
Hi, wich scale plans are supposed to be the most accurate? Thanks
ROM
Hi, The tweak list says that Trumpeter M117 are not very accurate. Is it worth it to replace them by resin from videoaviation? http://www.videoaviation.com/accessories/m-117-gp-bombs/ That usaf crew is nice too: http://www.videoaviation.com/figures/132-usaf-vietnam-crew-figures/ About Mk82s, Thud in Vitnam wore early, late, both type? Thanks Romain
thierry laurent
Videoaviation weapons sets are highly recommended. There is no comparison with the kit parts. Moreover, in Europe the price is very reasonable for what you get.
thierry laurent
In Vietnam early Mk82s were used.
ROM
Hi Thierry, thanks! Do you know which scale plan could be the most accurate? I mean, in which book? site? Thanks in advance cheers Romain
thierry laurent
Well, I did not reply to your question as I do not remember. I know I cross-checked some of them when I wrote the list but it was some years ago... Moreover, accuracy may cover different things: shapes, panel lines, etc. ROM
ROM
Thanks Laurent Just to know which drawing to rely on in order to check that tail shape. Bye!
