Fündekals is pleased to announce our forthcoming 1/48 decals for Royal Canadian Navy Sea Furies. We’re excited about the Airfix kit, but these can be used on any other 1/48 Sea Fury as well. They cover all of the major color scheme and marking variations carried by RCN Sea Furies in their nine short years of service.

NOTE: If we eventually see an injection molded 1/32 Sea Fury that's not short run or mega-expensive, we will upscale this to fit...

We also have at least one more Sea Fury sheet coming. Stay tuned!!

Read it on Diaperscale. Nice, but wrong scale for me. I have two Fisher kits one folded, one unfolded and both will be RCN

The backing sheet is not accurate, it has the wrong colour.

Those roundels should have a kangaroo in 'em.  :hmmm:

The humble tambourine can be traced back over 5000 years. Now it is perhaps the most recorded instrument.

Check it out, during Roman games, there were always bands playing. A tambourine being involved.

What a gig! :)

Wow, that is a beautiful and comprehensive sheet, and having seen your instructions they will be worth having in themselves for a history of RCN Sea Fury markings. I hope that the Special Hobby Sea Fury release gives you the right conditions to scale them up to 1/32.

I'd be up fora 1/32 sheet as well.

So hopefully it'll happen at some point.

It's a true fact that no Royal Canadian Navy Sea Fury that I've been able to find a photo of had a kangaroo in its roundel...  But there's another Sea Fury sheet (one at least) coming that will have roo roundels on it :)

A roo? Like a misshapen dog. I guess they got that way from having to hold on to the earth their whole lives. They hate to fall off, I'm sure.

To take a perfectly good RCN Sea Fury and screw up a perfectly good maple leaf with someone's pet rat... The nerve!!!

Actually, I think our Australian friends should replace the Roo in the roundel with a jar of Vegemite.

Just musing out loud...
