JCote Posted March 9, 2006 Share Posted March 9, 2006 The goal is to convert the venerable Airfix MkI into a Canadian Mk IX, squadron and exact sub-variant as yet undetermined. I can only devote a couple of evenings a week to the project, and because I´m trying to experiment with techniques that are completely new to me (vac-forming, photo-etching, soldering), progress is very slow. I love the old Airfix MK1a Spitfire i think its better than the Trumpeter MKVB. Having just built this kit i will watch and learn with interest . Good luck buddy great work so far.
