Thank you so much for the compliments on the Spit. I'll need to go back and see about the decals but I'm pretty sure they were either EagleCal or Barracuda.

When I built my Tamiya F-16, same decal cracking problems as you are experiencing. I called tamiya USA Customer Service and explained the problem. They said it was most likely old, heat damaged decals from sitting on a vendors shelf. All I needed to do was dent then part of the decal sheet as proof I actually had the kit and with in ten days a complete new set of decals were on the bench.
