I'll add the one I always do because it's a pet interest of mine;

Encore une Fois - WW2 aircraft in the post war world. Egyptian Spitfires, Chinese Ki 44's, Cuban P-47's, North Korean Yak 9's, Syrian Fiat G 55's, Australian Mustangs.

A couple of points to remember when making a suggestion; kits available in 1/32+ and our previous Group Builds. Sometimes very specific topics will leave only a handful of models in large scale to build and I notice a few of the suggestions we have run in the not too distant past. If you click on the Group Builds forum and scroll down you will find a list of previous ones.

Also here is the list of suggestions from the other thread for the GB to replace Civil Aircraft.

Cold War warriors

Any color you like as long as it is {..}build and finish in a scheme that includes the defined color. The color must not come solely from the national insignas.

"Whatever floats you" a GB for flying boats and seaplanes

"Under a red star" anything that sports or sported a red star

"70 years of the USAF" any subject flown by the USAF in the last 70 years

"Flying a continent". Any subject flown in a given continent, to be determined.

"In-line engined" . The subject must have been powered by an in-line engine

"Radial-engined". self-explanatory, as above

"Multi-engined". Models with more than one source of power

"Bombs away" Any model of an aircraft used for bombing

"Scramble" Any model of an interceptor or dogfighter

"Setting the record straight" Any aircraft that was involved in a record.

"Training day" any aircraft used for training

"Third World Wars" any aircraft in service with a country that wasn't a member of or affiliated with: NATO, Central Powers, Five Eyes, or Warsaw Pact.

"Air Wars Over Africa"

"MiG Madness"

Not to push for a particular theme, but it seems to me that the Cold War Warriors would encompass the great majority of the other suggested themes above, thereby being very inclusive. Granted it limits the GB to aircrafts flown after 1947 and before 1991, so it will be mostly jets although there was still plenty of propeller action in third world theaters.

I have two projects that would be suitable for CWW: Su-25 in Afghanistan and a Skyraider in French color in Algeria, but there are many more I would love to do: Bearcat in Indochina, A-6A, F4 or Bronco in Nam, Israeli Skyhawk and Syrian Mig-23, Russian Mig-29...

So many projects, so little time...
