Lee in Texas
Wow. That looks REALLY high up for leaflets. I guess leaflet delivery isn't the goal. It's making sure there are no malfunctions when the ordnance separates from the plane.

Mark_C
Does someone have to collect the leaflets, or are they just left on the ground? Edited July 27, 2017 by Mark_C
Finn
Does someone have to collect the leaflets, or are they just left on the ground? Each bomb holds 60,000 leaflets, 8 bombs were dropped over the ocean and the other 8 over a range in the desert, regardless i don't think they have been collected or will be. Here is a F-16 heading to Libya a few years back with just a couple of PDU-5/Bs, no doubt those leaflets were picked up: Jari Edited July 27, 2017 by Finn
LSP_Ron
Paper is biodegradable, an eye sore for a period of time but harmless. Far less harmless than launching 1.5 million helium balloons into the air, or any helium balloons for that matter, that's just plain stupid. http://www.viralforest.com/never-release-1-million-balloons/ Bill Cross
