B is my vote but box art has never been a high priority for me. Nice to look at and I understanding the marketing value. Personally, I normally have already read the reviews and know what I want before purchasing a kit. I would rather see the extra attention and costs allotted for the art work be applied towards the painting guides and decals. .

Just my two cents worth.

I like B.

However, I'd rather that you spent the graphic arts and printing budget on alternative decals since it appears that Pheon won't go ahead with the international Gladiator decals earlier proposed. I really hoped to see some Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian and more Swedish Gladiator options, especially some of those interesting ones that fought for Finland with the repainted insignia to form some fascinating personal markings.

I'd love to see the Hart in Estonian markings, and better yet with floats. If you do a Bulldog, please consider Estonian or Danish options.

On the other hand, I may be the only one in the world who is that crazy for smaller air forces in 1/32 scale. I applaud your efforts to bring so many fascinating aircraft to our hobby, and especially like the fact that you are delivering planes from the 1930's. We can cut masks to make some of these happen.

I've never liked the look of a side profile against a sky background ©...it's very static/stiff and it evokes a certain lack of design effort (hope that doesn't sound harsh).

A proper piece of artwork like A or B is much more effective for a boxtop and looks professional and exciting. In my opinion B is better because you do see more of the aircraft and I agree it is very dynamic overlapping the borders. One thing you might consider is removing the screw-heads at the corners of the frame, it would be a much cleaner image and they don't add anything. Black for a border is an excellent choice, very dramatic.

Thanks for asking for input!

Richard
