Barry
Another of my older builds but one which reflects at least some what of my other real passion in modeling. I'm a true model railroader at heart; I model in HO scale. Or as folks who were new to the hobby would come into the shop and ask for "whoe" scale! Here is my version of the Haswgawa 1/72 K5(E) Railway Gun. No AM for this one so there are lots of scratched built details from exhaust/muffler shields to barrel travel clamp. Now to duplicate it in 1/35 with the Br52 Locomotive coupled to it! Barry
ladder4boy
beautiful job there Barry! I opened my big mouth at my LHS a year or so ago on this very kit to the owner.. told him he should carry the 35th scale one.. he said no-one would buy it.. i said "i would".. and 2 weeks later it was sitting on the shelf and i was, y'know.. obligated to buy the thing. Peer pressure sucks! Anyhow, when i get my bench cleared off later in the year i plan on starting that thing.. but i'm liking your idea of hookin' it to a Br52! that should only make it about 5ft. long. If it turns out half as good as yours i'll be happy! love the rust weathering on the exhausts and wheels. Looks awesome! Cheers, Jerry

LSP_K2
Great minds obviously think alike;... I have this kit too. And one day,... I'll also have it in 1:35, along with the Dora.
LSP_Ron
Wow, you've done a very nice job there. I haven't seen this kit in sometime. Is it still produced?

Don't know if it's still in production or not; got mine on "the bay", along with the Karl mortar, which I also want in 1:35 scale. LSP_K2
This is pretty good reference on the Leopold, assuming you're looking for some.
