Martinnfb
I would say that You guys are way to kind , however thank you for your feedback. this model was build, or rather assembled by friend of mine, it is RC model, so the antenna is functional, therefore on the thick side. He asked me to paint it for him. At that time (2005) I did not have what i possess now, co basically i just painted the whole thing with some kind of dark Grey, then dry-brushed a mixture of white chalk and British Armour yellow, then dampen the surface with water and salted the whole thing right from the package of a sea salt. then quick coat of diluted white and tooth pick scratching. After that I used a bunch of chalks and graphite from pencil, to simulate I don't know what and that was it, done like dinner within one weekend. This post is actually a message for Tudor," Do not be scare to experiment and push the limits, because there are non."Thanks again gentleman Cheers martin
PhilB
Martin, I've always said (and been shouted down for it a few times too!) that when you want to know about weathering then talk to the armour guys. That, my friend, is a perfect example of jaw-dropping weathering. Just awesome! Phil
Tomek
Ahhh, so it was you responsible for this weathering after all Good, now I know which brain to pick in need Again, great model (congratulate yourself and your friend of course!)!
spacewolf
I'm not a tread head but I've been around the real thing in the field. You caught that perfectly. Place that in a winter scene, do the black and white thing and it'll look real to anyone. Amazing work, would love to see it 'in action' in the snow !
