Daywalker
Nicely done, especially the finish! If you hadn't mentioned the scale, I would have sworn it was the real deal.

LSP_Kevin
Fantastic Shawn! One of the most realistic builds of that kit I've seen. Really nice weathering. Kev

Bigasshammm
That's awesome. Who makes these? Are there any US planes? Specifically a Corsair?
Shawn M
Thank you all for the compliments! I'd never seen a weathered build of this kit so I went at it with washes, pencils, pastels, etc. So far this is the only Panel offered by Eduard in this scale, sadly. I too would love to see a Corsair and other WW2 Big Iron birds covered.
dodgem37
That is so cool. Great job! Sincerely, Mark
jeroenpeters
HA! just started the same sweet kit! Build pretty quick and indeed very well thought out. Really love the look you've acquired! For anyone who's interested: there's a good description and two different build examples in the Eduard magazine / newsletter available through their site: http://www.eduard.com/info-eduard/ It also predicts more of these 1/4 panels.... Cheers, Jeroen
jeroenpeters
Ah, and here's a site that offers a larger variety. Including a Mustang. http://www.aerocockpit.com/instruments-panel-kits/
Shawn M
please post a pic Jeroen! One nit pic I had was no color call outs for the fuel and coolant gauges, I chose green, guess it should have been blue...well crap. I just mounted mine on a homemade aluminum easel I whipped up today. I really do hope they add more to the line, it'll be a great display addition to the Dragon BF-110 I bought today at the LHS. Learstang
Brilliant work on the panel, Shawn! Jeroen, thank you for the link! Those are some nice-looking instrument panels. I just e-mailed them asking that they do a Shturmovik panel, of course. Regards, Jason
LSP_K2
Now that is a nice rendition of the panel. I've seen others, but this has to be the best, by far.
