AV-8A : FINISHED

And there it is with the 3 base colors established. Next, some chalk weathering, decaling and final assembly.

Every once in a while a product comes out that makes one wonder how we survived without it before. I know everyone on this site has used this product, but it was my first experience using Tamiya's masking tape (on the demarcation of the upper and lower camouflage). What a fantastic product - very clean crisp lines and no paint lift - and how fun it is to remove and see the result you wanted!

Thanks Kagemusha and Ian! It was really a nice challenge with its ups and downs, but in the end gave some satisfaction of build. The Harrier is a fascinating aircraft - hope Trump gets their AV-8B out soon!

Thanks Ted - glad you enjoyed the thread. It was a fun build; didn't get too exotic with the detailing, but just enough to let it sit alongside some Tamiya type OOB jets. There is so much more one can do - and so little time!
