Bf 109G-6 Ammo Feed Chute

Anybody out there got pictures/drawings for the 13mm feed chutes and ammo bins for the nose mounted mgs in the 109G-6? I assume the bins go in the empty cavity forward of the firewall. I would also assume the chutes incorporate a compound curve - has anybody included this in their Trumpeter 109 and, if so, what medium/technique did you use to model them?

Not trying to hi-jack this thread...but...

Welcome aboard Jerry! Great to see you here!

On the MG131s and Trumpeter: This is one of the sore spots on the Trump kit for me, and there are not many. They went to the trouble casting the wiring harness for the DB in rubber, yet are missing the entire feed chute for the nose MGs.

They INCLUDE the cross members on the windscreen frames but leave out the aux fuel line feed?

Just seems like either they used an incomplete ship for referance, or made some pretty whacky choices in pre-production.

All in all it's a good 1/24 109 kit, possibly the best yet, but it is plagued with injector pin marks all over the interior (including the instrument panel!!!).

Good luck Iain! Tell us what you end up doing!

Cheers~
