Ok all, I'm taking the plunge..

This is my entry

This is where I'm at right now...

Parts prep stage, and laid down some RLM 66.  Barracuda wheels and cowl flaps/radiators, otherwise pretty much OOB.

I'll do my best at keeping up with this, as my track record with group builds is less than stellar :innocent:

Cheers,   Ian

Nice one Ian! Congrats on being first. Looks like you've got a 1/32 Do 335 going there too! (Or is it just an optical illusion, and it's really just 1/48?)

Kev,

No, its the old Monogram kit.  Hope to finish that one someday as well.

Sin,

If your talking about the LB 79, the Czechs had two, rebuilt from wrecks, one was used as a jet engine testbed, and the other was used to patrol the West German/Czech border until it was retired in 1952.

Kinda cool, actually.  Something different

Cheers,   Ian

Laid down some RLM 02 last night.  First time I used an airbrush in almost 3 years.  Since before my divorce....Wow :hmmm:

Felt good.  Got the tires painted, wheel wells, and assorted fiddley bits..

Will post piccys soon...

Cheers,  Ian
