Chris,

   Talk about taking a step down in scale. why not just the Eduard 1/48 scale F6Fs, they're great kits, and you can actually see them.

Yeah, I do prefer the 1/48 scale but since the build is part of our clubs Build the Same Kit program, it was all they had available - the 1/48 scale kits went fast.  What I do like about the 1/72 is that they take a lot less time to build - fewer parts for the most part.  Nice to get to the finish line a bit sooner.
