I did, quickly. It looks pretty good, a bit like a Roden kit. I cant speak about the fit or the inner details, but the moulding quality looks nice and sharp. There is a PE fret, and yes the MG sleeves are supplied in PE (the belts, too), à la Wingnut Wings.

There are 4 schemes, 2 armed aircraft, and 2 post-war aircraft without MG's.

I think i will order another one... :)

Since the new D.VIII is apparently not in our database yet, a nice square on shot of the box cover would be much appreciated, if it's not too much bother.

I ordered mine on Ebay, and i think the seller is very close to the manufacturer (maybe the manufacturer himself) as the kit was sent flat with the box unbuilt and unglued obviously coming directly from the printer. The price was very correct, $45 S/H included.

Thanks Nick............That appears to be exactly what I found. Ill probably just order them from E-bay then

Following the big Photobucket rip-off attempt, all my pictures on the forum cannot display anymore. I try to reupload the RFI pictures, but i'm not sure i'd have enough time and energy to reupload the pictures of the WIP threads. If you're interested in a specific subject and want me to reupload some pictures, just let me know. :)

Thanks to LSP Mike, who managed to fit these two into a single box, which then reconstituted back to two boxes. Impressive, especially with a couple of HGW detail sets and WNW AM decals, as well as resin exhausts.

And from James Hatch, a KH Kingfisher. But no box, so no photo.

No

Oh Gerhard. Sending the skyraider to SA is way too expensive mate. I sent a corsair to Germany and the guy freaked out.

I did get him to donate money to cancer research, so not a complete loss. ;)

I did find the decals though. ;)

Sorry mate. Cheaper to buy that stuff at home I reckon. :)

No worries. PM me what it will cost, and I can send you the monies. Will probably still be cheaper than buying it here.

Well it just had to be after Tony's two builds, I will keep my Tamiya Mk. IX for a main build but will use this one for a different service build maybe RAAF or French.

Today at my work i received a very big box from Hannants, and when i got back home, in the mail box there was a large enveloppe from Ukraine (the MikroMir kit was shipped flat). No doubt it's a very good day !

20170420_231058_zpsunpoxep1.jpg

Strangely, it's the Fokker D.VIII that makes me the more excited ! :)

Do you want to build them (before the age of 100, given your stash), or is this just your to fund your retirement? :coolio:

Well, the Ukraininas are known to ship any model with  the box folded flat and the sprues on top. It just saves shipping cost. And they are known to wrap anything bulletproof. Sometimes even nuke-proof

Nice haul! Enjoy!

OK, another to potentially be added to the database. While the kit is already listed (here), the artwork is not that of the box proper. Any chance you can send me a nice square on shot of the box cover, preferably without flash?

Last 30 days's haul...

I saw the Gotha with "Low quantities" on Weta so i nabbed two more, and i thought why not nab two more AEGs G.IV late?

I'd rather spend retail price now while WNW is still producing them, rather than learn the hard way like i did when i bought 3 wnw Albatrosses on ebay!

Btw the Gothas are now out of stock on Weta and i suppose OOP so that's a good thing i guess!

Also nabbed a Roland DVIb, Aviattic lozenges and hgw harness for the kit.

An Aviattic Marienfelde,

A wnw Fokker EIII along with RB Productions pe wing conversion set (has anyone built the skeleton kit from rb yet? cant find any wip anywhere).

Restocked on some AK stuff, two molotow liquid chrome pens and i can say they are FANTASTIC, copper state models Gotha crew, the windsock modelling special for the AEG, volume 4 of encyclopedia of aircraft: weathering and the Foxbot masks for the digicam Ukrainian Su27...

Planning on restraining myself this month but ive been hovering around the Fly Wessex...still have to read a bit more about the kit, and try to source the Scale Warships folding rotor set eventually... any thoughts on the kit guys?

Hey Karim,

where did you get the Aviattic Marienfelde Lorry from?

I've been looking for a while now....

Hi Kev, got this kit last week too, if Dennis has not already given you a box shot, let me know and I'll send you a square on box cover shot tomorrow with daylight

when flash wont be needed.
