J-Shliker
I am new to models and have been taught by one of you more senior members (you know who you are *cough* bdthoreson *cough*). I hope you guys enjoy my process and I would enjoy any input! http://imgur.com/a/ZAs97 PS: This is my second model. My first was a Revell of Germany Spitfire MKII it is also on my imgur page enjoy! sandokan
Intruder503
Glad to have you here! Nice work so far! P.S. - I've been to your neck of the woods many times. I grew up just south of you in Deltona.
Rob Owens
Nice work!!! I think your patience and attention to (miniscule) interior detail will result in your being very pleased when the 'pit is closed up.
J-Shliker
Thanks to both of you for the kind words. I am one of those weirdos that will spend 10-15hrs working on the interior only to close up the halves and lose most of that work to shadows! But I know it is there and that lets my OCD be happy about the cockpit. Finished gluing up the wings last night only had minor sanding and most of the seams vanished. I will add more pictures this weekend! Jeff T
Gazzas
Nice start! Love the Tojo, so gonna watch closely. I'm the opposite. If it won't be seen, and isn't needed structurally, I won't even remove it from the sprue. Gaz

Sure in somebody's opinion it may be one way or the other. But if it's yours and you're happy, who cares what anyone else thinks!

J-Shliker
Was able to get the wings glued up this evening. The seams already look pretty decent. The lower chin seams need some work but that is just some light sanding. (sorry to which ever mod had to see my last attempt at a picture link it was HUGE!) J-Shliker
Was able to get the forward cockpit cover plate glued up. Just need to sand off the little bit of ooze from the glue. Also test fit the cowling still very impressed with the fit of this model! Gazzas, LSP_K2 and sandokan

J-Shliker
Some days you paint and engine base black and it looks good. Then you do something dumb and break your pushrods. Oh well that is why they made Tamiya Extra Thin. sandokan
J-Shliker
Fixed and painted the push rods. Glued them into position (easier said than done). Alignment was not a perfect fit on these rods. All I have left is oil wash and dull coat then we can assemble the cowling area! sandokan, AlexM and tomv87
