Azgaron
Well, here's my contribution to honor the memory of Russ. I can't build at the speed he did, but building it ootb will help a bit I hope. Here's the box. I'll get it started asap. Cheers, Håkan Derek B, BradG, r0t0rdr1ver and 1 other

Kaeone57
Nice choice Haken. I remember building one of these in the late '80's when I still kinda liked jets right before modeling came to an almost complete halt till '06. Have fun, and welcome to the GB!! Azgaron
Thanks Geedubelyer! Need to clear the table of a Seiran build first. Cheers, Håkan
PhilB
Håkan Looking forward to seeing this one. OOTB is great therapy as a few of us here are discovering! Good Luck! Phil
Azgaron
Thanks Phil! Yeah ootb is nice for a change. Don't know if I can avoid some scratchin though Cheers, Håkan
Azgaron
I've started building. Lots of white plastic in the box. As usual it starts out with the cockpit. Usual Revellic lack of details and indentical twin pilots. I test fitted the pit in the fuselage, and it seems like I got some work filling gaps later. I noticed that the glass should be fitted with the merge of the fuselage halves. Not entirely happy with that, as it causes problems when fixing seams. Well, I hope to sort it out somehow. mgbooyv8
Hi Håkan, That's a real classic. Beware of advanced modelers syndrome! Though many build very good models from this one, the more recent offerings from Revell and Tamiya are a better basis for superdetailing. The shapes are o.k though. Just keep this one simple and build it OOB. Cheers, Peter
Azgaron
Peter, I will try and keep within ootb limits I'll maybe add some bits of plastic to the pit to spice it up a bit. The decals looks pretty ok, although they don't seem to be right for a RF. Cheers, Håkan
