Guest steve gallacci
A shot of model nr2, nr1 is a mostly OOB job. Eduard photoetch and scratch bits here. I'll have shots of nr1 bits too, which only uses kit parts with fairly simple modifications
McG
looks like the HE162 is becoming the must have kit this year.
Ted Barrett
Way to go Steve!! At this rate we're going to have to ask the LSP staff to set up a separate Forum just for the He 162!!! Ted Barrett
Brian Perris
Steve, How's the PE working so far? I've got some on order for my 162 and I am a big fan of the Eduards product. I'm using it on my ME 163 and really enjoying the added value to that kit. Brian
Guest steve gallacci
The Eduard stuff is great, the pre-painted bits are particularly snazzy. However, to install the cockpit inside walls, some details are lost and there is no provision for replacements. Also, cross-checking with various references is always a good idea, just to make sure of installation and supplemental details. The exterior detail set appears to be okay, extra details for the gun bay, which needs it, and while it has extras for the wheel wells, the improvements are hard to see and still doesn't address all the plumbing that is still missing.
