oppenheimer
Hi guys, after a long brake finally started and finished a model, this is from MRC with the Zactoman resin conversion , first resin pieces that really fit like an original piece, also in this model is my first time using MRP paints, let me tell you, best paint ever used in my life, after this tryout the other paint brands are gone for me. Hope you like this one Jorge Bill Cross, Dragon, Doctorgaz and 21 others

Out2gtcha
Love it! Really well done, and the paint work is just up my ally. I too have just recently purchased a bunch of MRP paints. I have not painted an actual completed model with them yet, and have only experimented on a paint mule so far. I agree 100% they are some of the smoothest shooting paints Ive ever used. The only thing I dont like so far is the fact the paints are useless for brush painting, and you technically get less paint for quite a bit more money per bottle being pre-thinned. I can overlook that but would still love to find a good enamel line now that MMs enamel line is being discoed by Rustolium.
oppenheimer
the thing i like about this paint is if you spray it at the correct pressure, then you get a satin finish and you skip the need of a clear coat for the decals, also that they are ready to apply any kind of weathering product over it without using a clear coat Edited June 23, 2017 by oppenheimer Out2gtcha
smotti
Oppenheimer, Sensational!!! Are MRP paint acrylic, lacquer or enamel? Cheers. Out2gtcha
Out2gtcha
Oppenheimer, Sensational!!! Are MRP paint acrylic, lacquer or enamel? Cheers. The MRP paint line is technically a cellulose based acrylic lacquer. Pretty stinky, but if you have a paint booth, well worth it, as the particulate is very fine, and the paints shoot immaculately.
