mpk
Thanks Tex! I possibly should place the F4 in here as I have an abundance of Hasegawa 109 parts. Kind of everywhere! Bugger it. I'll do it. Put myself under a deadline. These two threads are from my Modelling while insane thread. So there is no dedicated thread for them. It's not like my diary is full. mpk
Interesting modelling day, looking through all my stuff and finding parts. I am wondering if I should change the propellor colour. I have the Gunze propellor colour on the Tony's spinner and blades. Does anyone know if that colour should be on the Shoki? Gotta love the way the Airscale decals make the cockpit pop. Gazzas
Still, a great photo with some weathering tips: Where the paintwear is heaviest at the seams and canopy. Where the engine oil has dripped down the wheel well covers. Good stuff for the would be Raiden builder. mpk
Shawn M
also note the "soft" green edge at the bottom Gazzas and mpk
Gazzas
I like the rain streaking too. I've started to do it in a lessor fashion on aircraft. mpk

Alain Gadbois
You're right! Must be a "Spanish" Raiden! More seriously, note the completely stripped section each side of the Hinomaru. I have seen this before in a Raiden photo and I actually though for a while it was a white stripe. I'll look this up but I wonder what kept paint from adhering to this particular panel. More on the thread subject, your Shoki looks fantastic! Regards, Alain mpk
