BloorwestSiR
Thanks Shaka, Gunze does indeed spray very well. That and Tamiya thinned with their lacquer thinner are probably my favourite paints to airbrush with. Here's the other part of the build, Rabbit Leader himself: A better view of the contents: With some of the casting blocks trimmed off. I don't have a suitable blue for his flight suit so I'll be off to the LHS to get some. In the meantime, I managed to spray the Dark Green onto the upper surfaces. So I'm just plugging away at it. BloorwestSiR
Thanks Shaka! And yes, the workbench is managing to stay somewhat neat. I painted the inner part of the gear doors and the rad fairings. I then put the RB Productions PE rad screens together. Installed on the Spitfire: And with the fairings in place: It looks like at this point I'll have to take a short break on the build. I have the fundekäls sheet for the markings but would prefer to paint the roundels on. None of the masks I have are the correct size so I've ordered some from Maketar. I'll use those for the roundels and the decals for the other markings. So hopefully I'll be back in business in a couple weeks. In the meantime, I'm starting on an entry for the Eric Brown GB. BloorwestSiR
Thanks everyone! The PE rads really do make a difference. The ones Radu makes for the Tamiya Mossie in my mind are a must have. Carl Shaka HI
geedubelyer
Hi Carl, any sign of those paint masks yet? I'm eager to see the markings in place over that lovely cammo. Radu's etch certainly lifts those radiator cavities. Nice job. Cheers.
BloorwestSiR
Hi Guy, The masks haven't arrived yet. Hopefully they get here soon as I'd like to get this finished too. I'm thinking I'll try and get some of the remaining small details out of the way while I wait. Carl
BloorwestSiR
Well, the paint masks arrived today so I'll be getting back to this build shortly. I did a quick comparison of them to the decals and it looks like all the dimensions are a match. So I'll be good to go. Carl geedubelyer

Shaka HI
Hey Carl, there's almost a slight sheen to your finish...you do this on purpose to allow the masks to stick better?
