Crap. Another Thunderbird incident.

Not a crash though, #7 was taxiing in and a gust of wind flipped it over. Not too sure why they were flying in that weather though.

 

 

Agreed. That's why I referred to it as an incident instead of crash. Still, it is another expensive stumble. Thankfully no lives were lost.

I live in Cincinnati which is about an hour south of Dayton and it has rained and stormed most of the day today. They have cancelled Saturday's performance and they've not made a decision about Sunday.

Bummer, cause I'm heading up there to the show in the morning.

I'm glad no one was hurt. Planes can be replaced, people can't!

Glad to see that the 2 occupants were ok!

 

Hope and pray that this won't impede the Thunderbirds visit to Fairford for the International Air Tattoo 14th. to the 16th. July!! Really looking forward to seeing then again.
