A few folks wanted to see her :hmmm:    So posting photos. Hope you like it.

This started out a long time ago. What has me moving on it now is our local new IPMS 101 wonders club. Well we have a California theme build going on. Pt boat Elco PT362 -367 were built at Terminal Island between San Pedro and Long Beach CA.  Also have 4 generation's of sea fearing in my blood :innocent:

The above photo has a 3D printed Throttle housing in clear. It is just above the life raft on the deck.

Now when it comes to the year of my early middle generation boat, I am doing a end of the war 1945 paint job on her.

This link will help on the colors for Pt Boats http://www.pt103.com/Ships_2_Colors.html

Thank you Mark for the link actually I got all the colors I need. some of them happen to be RAL colors. The closest thing I can

find. 90% of the time the ventilators face rearward so I put all rearward now. Also purchased 3D throttles and navigation lights( port starboard ).

Forgot to mention this boat is from squadron 18. It went through all the southwest Pacific her sisters were destroyed in the Philippines after the war ended. PT 364 was destroyed by shore battery. PT 365 was sold off. They all had names and some head nose art bow. PT 365 has the least information on. So it gives me artistic leeway.

Yes it is the first kit in plastic of the Spanish Centauro Matt.  I love the Centauro    Also the Decal sheet for the F15C Aggressor that Chuck is doing .  Thank for the comment and looking to. Hope to see you at Valley con Matt

Sorry very little Mark. Life is getting in the way with health issues for the family. Plus summer in Southern California is really not that good for modeling. As you're always outside cuz it's nice warm and sunny.

Thank you very much for checking in though

Cheers

Danny,

What an impressive, well detailed PT boat.  I've never build a boat, but what I've seen of your build sure looks like it will be an excellent display piece that your sea faring family will enljoy. Hope that this winter you will find the time to finish it up.

Joel and Joe thank you very much for your kind comments. I have stalled out on this build due to family health issues ( wife had spinal cord surgery ) and some tuna fishing trips. Regarding that I'm doing a mid production Elco PT boat in late War configuration. I have been trying to find reference photos I may have found something I may have done wrong. I have been Consulting with a gentleman that has photos of the same Squadron Ron 18 but of a different boat.

Also looking at buying some more 3D printd detail parts for it.

Cheers

Danny
