Hey Kevin, the oxygen regulator instruments are on the lower

right hand side of the IP. Looks like a hose fitting and a gauge

and a small handle.

That's interesting indeed, but I was referring to the oxygen gizmo that's supposed to be mounted to the rear wall. I suspect my choice of nomenclature wasn't quite correct. Thanks for the link, that looks great.

Hmmm, that is confusing. I don't see how a hose could be

connected to that. I 'have' seen oxygen bottles mounted

down there on some models.

I'm guessing that the oxygen hose runs under the console (from behind the bulkhead) to the regulator gauges on the IP, but really have no idea.

I think that's correct. Here's a shot of the setup on a 109.

Same elements but combined into one assembly .

Thanks a bunch, Jerry, I certainly appreciate your input, and I will check it out. The colors on this machine certainly throw me off, but I'll be going with what I think it should be vs what the Histoire book says it is. I've never actually seen a photo of this particular machine, so I guess I have some latitude there.

  • 3 weeks later...

Some MM steel now spritzed on the engine, and it really seems to make the nicely molded details pop.

Front piece masked off and painted flat black. Still more painting/washes to add, but that's all. No added plug wires, as the cooling fan really hides the majority of the engine anyway, so I won't waste my time with that.
