Tamiya 1/32nd scale USAAC fighter pilot

Hi folks,

 

It's been a while since I could muster up any interest in modelling for some unknown reason but today I managed an hour at the bench.

Tamiya offer both a seated and standing crewman for their P-51, this is the standing option.

The figure consists of four parts.

I primed the figure in black then brush painted various Citadel Miniature and Valejo acrylics using the box artwork as a guide.

It looks like the little guy has n't slept for a week The dark areas under his eyes are less obvious in real life

 

This was fun.

It took no effort to assemble and did n't take long to paint either but it felt good to sit at the model bench again.

 

Next up,........1/32nd scale Packard Merlin...........?
