simon64
I've just got a fridge compressor and want to use it with the tank from a compressor that died. Have any of you done this and are there any things I need to look out for? Edited March 29, 2017 by simon64
blackbetty
My first compressor was a fridge Unit. I used a VW beetle windowwasher reservoir for it. Just find a valve that lets excessive pressure out and your are good to go. Very silent too
simon64
I've got the tank and air pressure cut off valve as it is just the motor that had failed on the original I am hoping that it should just a case of plumbing in the fridge compressor. Theo
I Did it, with an lpg tank and a big big compressor from an old supermarket cooling unit. It was fun, long ago. You need some parts tough. So go to a store where they sell compressors, they can advice you and have the parts you need. To be honest, your better off buying one then make it yourself
