Dandiego
Excellent work. I build an F-18 in this scale but not anywhere close to what you have done. Bravo. Dan

Fancherello
hello I've been experienting a bit with my new toy: a Silhouette Cameo cutter. First try was done with mistaken font, but after correction and re-cut, here is the result on upper tail code: I' now focusing on the egine nacelles. Today was especially on the square panels that make the junction between the airframe and the carbon louvers. They often appear very weathered and there is some sort of beige material which I suppose is some sort of sealant ? By the way, still much inspired by the Daco book, here's the result of the airbrush work, a bit more crispness will be added with pencils. I also added some touch ups and their classical dark halos on nacelles latches. Next shall be the engine nacelles weathering best regards F`s are my favs, Peter Gregor, Troy Molitor and 7 others

Squizzy 78
Simply stunning, this is truly an amazing building, and I think everyone will be getting some ideas for painting or weathering from your techniques.
A-10LOADER
WOW, great work Fanch, looks awesome. Did you use the composite fiber decals from Scale Motorsports for the engine shrouds ? If so, how easy was it to get them to conform to the compound curves of the shrouds ? I plan on using them for my 1/18th scale jet. Steve
Fancherello
Thank you guys ! The carbon fiber decal is SHUNKO SHK-0312 ordered at spotmodel.com website. Superb dedinition but very rigid. I had to cut them in several square plates ( luckily like the real deal ) and conform them with a hairdryer and a q-tip. I found a tutorial on YouTube for that from a car modelling channel. Rather difficult, mainly because i had never done this before, but in the end after a bit of practice it came ok. The other difficulty is to find a good ratio between size of the patterns and scale, which could always be discussed, but I think this ref works nice. Best regards !
