Hi Fellas,

First of all I would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome the other day, and for answering my question in the general discussion forum. I have been modeling now for about 3 years, but have mostly built 1/48. However I have wanted to try 1/32, because one of theses days I want to try detailing, and think that would be a great scale to do it in. Well visiting this site last week, and learning of this group build motivated me to try out 1/32 for the first time. This seems to be a good and fun way to ease into it being mostly OOB and all. I really like Spits. So I am going to follow KOTR's lead and do a 1/32 Spit 22/24. I have been experimenting with the ole paint on the markings and will attempt it with this one as well as try some dry transfers for the stenciling in an attempt to cut down the decal usage. Just picked it up from the post office and about to give it a bath. So lets the fun begin. Bear with me awhile on the picture posting, for it will probably take me a couple of posts to get used to the resizing.

Welcome!!

If we all finish we should have a really nice collection of Spitfires in the gallery. Which reminds me.....

I need to do some work on a certain Spitfire of my own. ;)

Have fun!

PS What part of TX are you from?

Hi Dave,

I am near Corpus Christi, and work in Kingsville at the Naval Air Station. I look forward to seeing your Spitfire.

hello do you have any pics anywhere on this forum,

if so please put on a link

i would not know where to find it as im new to both the hobby and this forum

Hi there,

What are you interested in specifically? This is a long-defunct topic in a long-finished Group Build, so you may be better served posting any questions in the LSP Discussion forum.

Oh, and welcome to LSP!

Kev
