Harold
I'm losing the will to live given all the Kittyhawk damp squibs. So many promises just seem to fizzle out. Having said that, I still have a space for the 'Streak and 'Flash. And Jaguar. Tony edited for editing purposes I have fingers and toes crossed. A lot of good modelers put some serious effort into the research for these things. SharkOwl, Tony T, LSP_K2 and 4 others

Tony T
Well this thread is about the F-5 That's no guarantee! Thanks for clarifying, as many of us don't do or have given up with FB. An F-5F will be cool. Tony

jenshb
With a great big axe on the tail! I'd like to see pictorial evidence of that. The axe "belongs" to 332 Sqn (AH-codes when they were using these), whereas the RF-5A(G)s were used by the RNoAF's sole photoreconnaissance unit; 717 Sqn (AZ-codes). I'd love to see a good F-5A family in 1:32 to. Jens
SharkOwl
In anticipation of the arrival of the Kitty Hawk 1:32 "F-5E Tiger II" model announced for March 2018, welcome the arrival at Furball Aero-Desing of this beautiful decal sheet at 1: 32 of the Top Gun US Navy Tiger II ! The entire F-5E operational period within the US Navy is covered. Reference: https://www.furballaero-design.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=32%2D002 Let's hope that Furball Aero-Desing will continue to produce other decal sheets at 1:32 for the F-5E Tiger II plus a 1:32 version of their F-5E Canopy Seals available at 1:48. Indeed, the F-5E Tiger II offers many possibilities of projects, covering 24 different Air Forces including 3 in Usa (Usn, Usaf, Usmc) and very beautiful camouflage patterns all more colorful than each other: Alu, Blue, Flogger, Frog, Grape, Lizard, Pumkin, Sand, Silver, Snake, Grays, Splinter, Jungle, Middle East (Desert), Southeast Asia (Vietnam), North Africa (Tunisia) etc ... and I certainly forget other ones. Tony T
Nice to see pointy nose options. Always amazes me how structurally sound these aircraft have remained. Tony

SharkOwl
In anticipation of the arrival of the Kitty Hawk 1:32 "F-5E Tiger II" model announced for March 2018, here is another interesting decal sheet available from FCM Decals for Brazilian ''Força Aerea Brasileira'' F-5E Tiger II. This decal sheet covers Brasilian Tigers of the first era of operational years for ''Pointed Nose'' / ''No LERX'' aircrafts just like the one that will be released by Kitty Hawk next March. Meanwhile, lets hope that Kitty Hawk will include in its 1/32 scale kit : The fin fillet extension, the dorsal VHF blade antenna and the in flight refueling probe specific to the first 36 F-5E Tiger II delivered to Brasil, and many other nations operating the F-5E Tiger II; SharkOwl Edited December 20, 2017 by SharkOwl Harold and Menelaos
Scotsman
I have drawers full of TwoBob and old SuperScale Agressor sheets that have been gathering dust for years , but it looks like they might just be getting an airing eventually! SharkOwl
I have drawers full of TwoBob and old SuperScale Agressor sheets that have been gathering dust for years , but it looks like they might just be getting an airing eventually! It would be quite logical commercially that Two Bobs Decals eventually produce 1/32 scale versions of their beautiful decal sheets of F-5E Tiger II available at 1/48 scale. All the (excellent) research work is already done ! To follow ! SharkOwl Edited December 20, 2017 by SharkOwl Harold
