mywifehatesmodels
About a month ago, I was going through my stash and found this little thing, about 70% complete. I decided to pull it out, slap some paint on and make a very basic in-flight display with it. I always liked the DML kits, although they're certainly showing their age today. Still a fun little build. Decals and pilot are from my spares and I'm not committing to any historical specimen. Just a random, "anonymous" 190. The last couple photos I added some effects to with the camera on my phone (Galaxy S7 Active). Gazzas
Very nicely done! I wish there was a truly invisible way to display them in flight. mywifehatesmodels
mywifehatesmodels
Thanks, guys! This was kind of a first for me. I've built many models to be hung from ceilings (or even ceiling fans! ), but this was the first time I made one with it's own base, just as an experiment, really. In the future I may do some more and in larger scales, but with size comes weight, etc. so I needed a practice run. John
Girlscanplay2
Great work!!! You know if you photoshopped the stand out it would actually look even more real! Wow! Teresa mywifehatesmodels

mywifehatesmodels
Thank you, Teresa and Brian! I don't have photoshop, but that would be cool, Teresa! Brian, you are too kind. I literally threw this thing together in a couple days and it shows (to me, at least!). Thanks again, John
