Totalize
HI Guys, Back with another update. Canopies. Done. I used the AK Gauzy Clear on them. Based on my experience it's the best clear solution for canopies I have used to date. Gives a very high gloss glassy effect. For the gun sight I used the Barracuda resin sight and scratched the reflector mount and glass. I am also going to use a Pilot figure with my build which I sourced from Black dog. Totalize
Thanks James. I am hoping the glossy sheen will be more apparent in photos once I get them on the model.
Totalize
Just a quick update as I finish off the weathering. Here are a few shots. I made the gun tape from Tamiya masking tape, sprayed with Vallejo Red and dullcoted to protect the red paint from wiping off the tape. Bare aluminum done with prisma color pencil-silver. She's getting close to the finish line now. JefH, bstachel, LSP_Kevin and 5 others

Totalize
Thanks Kev, Just have to adjust the ailerons to 0 degrees. They are not correct the way they are now. LSP_Kevin

JefH
Great build. I planned to finish mine in the same markings when I built it a couple years back. Unfortunately I finished my MKII by accidentally stepping on it in the dark when my 2 yr old pulled it off of my desk and put it in the bathroom for some reason. This build makes me want to take another crack at it. Jeff MikeMaben
Totalize
Go for it Jeff. Hopefully you won't take as long as I did to get to this stage. I have been a slooooowwwww builder lately. Dave. MikeMaben
Totalize
Cleaned up the bench and did a tiny bit more to the spit. Windscreen is now on and I added the cockpit door and the rudder tail light. Also, leveled the ailerons. Starting work on the figure as well. Totalize
Thanks guys, Having a bit of trouble trying to match the pale yellow colour of the pilot's lifejacket using my existing paints but will keep at it.
