Although I just bought a new Iwata Eclipse a couple months ago, HLJ had the HP-C Plus on sale last week so I couldn't resist and picked one of those up.

Nice. I have 3 ABs and my Iwata HP-C is my go to work horse. VERY easy to maintain, and the needle is HELLA stout compared to my H&S Infinity.

Great for major jobs and mottling too. Great easy to shoot AB with easy maintenance and a very robust nature.

Don't bother looking on weekends. Everybody else is, so prices go up.
Look during the week. Set up search terms so EBay email you when something comes up. Don't bid until the end. Use an app like MyIBidder to snipe in the last seconds. Don't get into a bidding war. Search miss-spelled terms that others have missed. Research the cost of what your after - it's common to find it cheaper off EBay. Stick to your cost, don't go mad. There will always be more available.

Awesome. I just applied this very idea to a Tamiya Mosquito on eBay.

Thanks. :)

Hi Dale,

They're made by Wako which is a Japanese company. I got them from HLJ.

Indeed. Though I have a couple of more expensive airbrushes, they seldom get used because my Iwata HP C+ is just so damned good at everything. For large-area jobs like priming, clear coating and NMF base coating, I have an Iwata HP-TH. It's great, too.

So simple, yet those two ABs are a couple of the finest tools I've ever owned.

"gut feeling"
