Advise sought - 1/32 Intruder A

Hi Folks,

 

Due to the generosity and assistants of a fellow member here  - Mark 31, who has given me the relevant decals to make thanks again Mark

 

VA 165 Boomers - Tail number 155644, The last option on the AOA sheet.

 

There has been some debate on the type of seat used and I am no expert on Intruders.........would I need to get a new seats and is there anything else needs to be tended too to build the above version.

 

Any expert advise will be much appreciated..........folks.......I am not sure if this is the right place to post this............please move it if its due somehwere else mods.........thanks

 

As eariler mentioned year 2018 is the year of the intruder for me...........as I am planning to build it...........

I'm not aware of a debate about the seat on that aircraft? Should be GRU-5, some are available by AMS Resin. The decals instructions mention what each aircraft had for configuration (red text header above the rear fuselage in the profiles that has listing). Since that scheme was later, you won't have much to change from what the kit offers, primarily the lack of the fuselage air brakes.

I would say if it's an A you would need the earlier GRU-5 seat.

Retrokit also has nice GRU-5s.
