I had organised a meet with him and Taso. Then Taso's dad failed to bring him. Dennis was disappointed, "Where is he???". No ego at all. He told me how at a drum clinic Weckl played a solo before Vinnie. Apparently a great solo. Not to be outdone, Vinnie went on stage, played the exact solo note for note, with one hand. What is the role of the drummer, the percussionist, where do they separate etc? Oh yeah. I heard a track I played, that was not good enough, on the internet the other day.
