Chris/Germany
think I must take a snapshot after a short look on my workbench, just realized i have 3 G´s in progress!...put´s a smile on my face.....it´s "Black 13" from third ranking german ace Günther Rall for my own collection, REVELL G-4 kit, decaled and ready for a semi-gloss coat, the Trumpeter G in 1/24 for a client, in progress with the paint-job and another G-6, also for a client, waiting for a few details, seems like a "multimedia-kit", basicly an old REVELL- kit with a few parts from the new REVELL, resin wheels, brass guns and aluminium-flaps....does anybody know where to get an extension for my workbench? Chris/Germany
Think the TRUMP kit will be finally done this weekend, just in progress with selfmade decals ´cause I have to change markings. The Trump kit offers underwing gondolas/MG´s in one sprue and also the instruction sheet, but both kits you can decal - Hartmanns bird and the one from Willi Reschke which is also the boxart) don´t have them! My Client wants to have them mounted so I decided to change markings to a G who has this underwing Mg´s so I have to selfmade some chevrons and a JG 3 / Udet emblem..hope it works. Will post an update shot the next days when paintjob is done cheers Chris
LSP_Mike
Chris, they are good looking birds!Do you modify all of your revell 109s- length, cowl ,ETC? do you have as many 109s as LSP Chris has jugs?( no pun intended!) would love to see an Airfix 109E- cheers and thanks for sharing mike in calif
Chris/Germany
Hy mike, the "little" 109 is for the same client that got the FW 190 posted in the "works" board a few weeks ago and same as before he wanted no cutaway but all service flaps/ cowlings opened. That´s why I chose to use the last of my old Revell kits ´cause they have a one piece cowling you can cut into two parts ( to show openend cowlings with a HASE or new REVELL-kit it´s more difficult). The other reason why I choose it is that the motor fit´s better in it´s bay than to the newer one. Although I did a lot of modification to this bird I decided to use the fuselage out of the box ´cause I did not have enough time to replace the backward part with a resin copy like I did with Graf´s bird. Me 109´s......hm.......6 finished at the time, and two of the old Hase E´s are waiting. cheers Chris

Chris/Germany
Vernon, don´t have an Airfix E but two Hase E´s, they are waiting to complete a 4-bird "Yellownosers" project, Wick and Galland already done, the two next will be Assi Hahn and Müncheberg...bout the G´s......workbench pic was not really complete, there are two Jugs in progress: No gut´s.....waiting for the decals, another Jug ( will be HunHunter) fuselage halfs completed with interior and a "Stang is also started ( motor and cockpit complete)Try to get away from those 109´s anyway but wanted ( outside the order jobs) to complete my "3-highest-scoring-aces of Germany"-project ( hartmann, Barkhorn, rall) with the Black 13.....and then it´s time for some Jugs!....hopefully......
