I don't know what the references are out there in Arado-land.  But I thought some of these shots would be of interest to those interested in this aircraft.

Great to see! Many years ago, I got to meet the last Luftwaffe pilot who flew this very aircraft from the production facility to Norway - it was a delivery flight. He grew up and lived not far from where I live. I can't remember his name anymore...

One of our company pilots who is long retired got to paint on the hand painted stencils a long time ago!

Cheers

Alan

Thank you for the link - The Udvar-Hazy center looks amazing. I really need to head south for a weeks long vacation in Dc and spend time at the Air and Space and the Udvar-Hazy Center. I'll be coming up with a plan somehow so Diane will look forward to going

Peter, be sure to stay outside DC for the U-H Center, as it's down the road from Dulles.

DC has some great restaurants, especially up in Georgetown where I have stayed in the past, and the history there isn't just about conflict. The National Portrait Gallery is very good, and of course the Smithsonian is about MUCH more than flight and fight. You might not know that you can arrange for a White House tour through your Congressperson, which bypasses all the lines for the peons who don't have that "in."
