Thanks Andy

I was a bit nervous about stacking up all those canopy sections. After lot of dry fitting and filing, they went pretty well.

So this is how I tackled the width problem of the wheels. Warning not for the faint of the heart! Almost the same thing I did for my Vintange P-47D.

Sliced the tires in two, wheels are already in two halves, and put a shim between them, aligned everything together and voilà!

The wheels and tires look great and your fix for the tires look dead on. I only wish I could follow your lead but the rules won't let me alter parts.

While the cowl has been drying, I started on the gear as well and have them primed and ready for a few shades of Alclads. The wheels were done in Tamiya AS-12 as that is my planned Aluminum Paint Color.

Keep 'em comin

Thanks Peter

After you win Best OOB, you can return and fix those wheels!  :)

For me, she's almost done! All I need now is those recognitions lamps, the red, green and yellow ones.

I am waiting for some MV lenses  to finish her and in may, I will present her at the Torcan show in Toronto!

'So received my lenses and I just put them on!'

I love those!  Are those MV Lenses?  If so, which ones?  If not, then Who?

I can't believe those skinny tires landed on an aircraft carrier.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Mark

Thanks Kev,

I don't know why I stalled this project for so long, maybe I needed Peter to start his and give me the spark I needed!
