Thanks for nice comments, Mates :)

Shouldn't  the cockpit colour be green instead of blue?

That was my first thought too, but I decided to follow the research done by Richard Tool, with whom I discussed this issue here: http://aeroscale.co....937&ord=&page=3.

Thanks for watching, best regards

Thanks :)

Quick update.

The fit is excellent, for such an old kit. Just Hasegawa.

The next step are the overlapping panels on the fuselage.

This is looking fantastic Hubert.

How did you get that IP looking so great? Are you using PE?

Many thanks. Dale

Nice progress here. I sure wish Hasegawa would redo this one.

Cool!   That's a nice kit.  Very easy and straightforward.  You are really turning this one into a work of art!

So, I went and grabbed my Oscar and looked at the Eduard PE set.

There it is, the IP.  :mental:

Great build. You're making me want to build mine. :)

Cheers Hubert. :)

Thanks, Mates :)

Confirmed, the IP is an old PE from Eduard, painted black with Gunze's 1500 Black Surfacer and drybrushed with light grey oil paint from Citadel range. Unfortunately not much will be seen when the work is done, but at least the photos remain... very glad, that you like it :)

This project stalled for a moment, but I'm going to come back to it next week.

Stay tuned, best regards

Hubert
