JamesHatch
Hi all, This is my HK Models Meteor F.4, converted into a T.7 using the Fisher Models resin set, incorporating the narrow chord intakes that are specific to the majority of T.7 aircraft. I've also added a smattering of Eduard stuff around this build, for landing flaps, seatbelts, wheels and mudguards etc. It's a little worrying when you hack off huge sections of your expensive model kit with a razor saw, but this one built up just beautifully. I've used MRP (Mr Paint) for all colours, such as Sulphur Yellow, Basalt, White Aluminium, Lemon Grey and Syrian AFV Yellow-Brown etc. Also some nice Airscale bezels and decals on the instrument panels. Masks are courtesy of Miracle Masks. Watch out for this one in the November edition of Military Illustrated Modeller (No.79), due out around mid-October 2017. Edited August 7, 2017 by JamesHatch Girlscanplay2, blackbetty, Shawn M and 16 others

mgbgtv8steve
Another of your 'little beauties' James! I love the way you model the more obscure subjects and bring them to life! Great! Steve S.

TonyT
Stunning work. Oldest jet still flying in the World no less, and here is one I took earlier.... on Photobucket as it still runs to 2018 for me. They are shots of the real thing flying, though I had to convince people they were not a posed model lol. Although for sale here http://www.platinumclassicaircraft.co.uk/meteor-t7/ Edited August 7, 2017 by TonyT paul fisher, JamesHatch, Girlscanplay2 and 2 others

desmojen
I have amassed the bits and pieces to do the same build at some point. I'm still undecided whether to go for the unfinished finish or the fully painted scheme she wears now. I worked on the aircraft for a short while while the Yatesbury crew still owned her. Jen. Mark M
Brilliant!! seen the real thing in the flesh, you need to build the painted one now aswell paul fisher
MikeC
Very well done, I like the unusual choice of paint scheme. Have you ever thought of writing a book on basic modelling using this model as illustration, what you might call a primer ... I'll get my coat. paul fisher

Kendzior
Beautiful! What a great idea to make her without any camo, it shows the fantastic workmanship of the men who have built her, a real tribute to this marvelous airplane. Best regards Hubert paul fisher
paul fisher
A great build, and an even greater choice of paint scheme, I love it when model builders go beyond the fence and do something unique! bravo, sir!
