Thanks guys!

hi

very nice paint job ,, very inspiring !!!!!!!! I am not sure , but I knew this "hellcat" with a three tone camo , if I am right , this  " smile " was not allowed a long time and was shortly removed after being painted ...

Alain

That's true. Unfortunately cat mouth disappeared quickly.

Terrific weathering. How did you do it?

Many tones of blacks/browns/whites/grays. Shiny oil stains are oil paints secured by layer of coat.

That Hellcat looks awesome. I have to give my 2 a try. Didn't want to touch them cuz all the bad stuff about the fatness of the Trumpeter kit. But that looks pretty good

I do not recommend this kit, not only it's bad if it comes to accuracy but gluing it together was not a pleasant thing too. Wait for something better.

No, silver crayon for small chips (easy to apply and remove if you make mistake) and Vallejo Liquid Silver on sponge (this technique is creating realistic effects) for bigger paint losses (Liquid Silver is excelent metallic by the way to use for brush/chipping effects).
