Hello Alain,

Isn't the Alley-Cat kit in 1/48th scale accurate?

That aside I do hope you can find time to progress a 1/32dn scale kit.

Regards

Russell

Hi Russel,

The best photos were on Britmodeler but the PhotoBucket plague has fallen upon them!

So, just to make a small appreciation, the Alleycat kit is certainly good, but has the wrong panel lines on the wings like all other kits. If you can check the Airfix kit you will

see the accurate location. Not anything that can't be corrected, but still annoying.

The front lower fuselage seems too slim, as it should be quite wide to accommodate the 4 guns. From the front the fuselage of the Vampire is egg-shaped. Once again, really not bad, but does not capture the look of the prototype. This was a problem on the Classic Airframe kit, much too slim from front to back.

So, no "fatal flaw" problem, just not perfect.

Thank you Russell and Tim for your encouragement on the 1/32 kit!

Regards,

Alain

Alain,

Thanks for that view of the Alleycat kit. The panel lines are an easy thing to fix as you say - frankly sometimes they need filling & re-scribing anyway just to reduce their width (on kits on general). A pity about the slimness of the fuselage though.

The Vampire is a manageable size for display even in 1/32 so I do look forward to seeing (plus buying) one.

Regards

Russell

Hello all!

I am wondering how to show photos of the Vampire project, as I am not certain it is appropriate to do this on the Fisher Models page.

If anyone has a suggestion I would like to know as there are also other Fusion projects in 1/32 I could discuss with those interested.

Regards,

Alain

Best to start your own topic, Alain, either in LSP Discussion, or the Vendors Board if you have anything ready for sale. Looking forward to seeing your projects!

My suggestion as an interested bystander is to just start a new thread in the main discussion forum. I am sure we would all be happy to see your work. Greg

Hi all!

Thank you for your interest in the Vampire project. This week I am very busy producing molds and casting resin miniatures for an RPG, but I will find a bit of time to show the state progress of the kit in LSP Discussion.

Regards,

Alain
