(Curious if anyone (Dana?)has any idea on what to paint those spreaders/bracing on the rigging lines? I've seen what looks like black/natural wood/yellow/color of the main body..I'm thinking gold just like the stripes and cowl/engine cover and I may go with gold just well because...) My understanding is they were meant to prevent the wires from "buzzing" in certain flight regimes (or even inverted flight). In which case their best mechanical position was to have them vertical rather than slanted, in order not to induce a side force on the wire.
