TorbenD
What a fab looking cockpit Kent - all the better that it will be so visible too. Torben kkarlsen

Gazzas
Kent, I really like what you're doing here. The cockpit details are stellar and I love the historical photos you've shared. CANicoll
I love following along watching this terrific work you are doing - it is really inspiring! Can't wait to see it coming together and putting the wings on now was not a nice thing to do: what a tease!!! Looking great! kkarlsen
kkarlsen
So, the canopy is finally in place, it took a little 'convincing', but it did get into place... BTW: The frames are painted from the inside. I will experiment with printing the attachment bolts/screws on clear decal film, to see if that will do the job... The hatch for the canopy still needs some details, as I want to display it open... The wings are fixed using HPH's epoxy and some brass profiles, I do not want anything to come loose... Trak-Tor
Hi Kent, great show as usually. While looking for something else I've stumbled upon this: https://rarebooksjapan.com/?p=15277 I guess you have enough resources, but it won't hurt me trying to help, will it? alaninaustria
Kent, looking just great!! What a pace and what a beauty!! As for the fastners, why not just take a strip of Tamiya tape, lay it over the area where you need to have the fastners and mark the location and using a punch set punch out the little holes - and then reapply the tape(s) and when they are all lined up and ready paint them with the airbrush. That's how I managed my Ju-87 rear and center canopies. Cheers Alan Edited April 22, 2018 by alaninaustria kkarlsen
kkarlsen
Time for an update, preshading and masking... I have been struggling with the paint scheme (my first luftwaffe splinter camouflage) After several attempts and corrections, I'm finally ok with the look...
