Kagemusha
There's only one, the kit by Fly.
Chek
Agreed on the Fly series of kits. I believe they're all nearly identical (apart from the Mark I fuselage, the decals and the wing type). There are two builds on this site - on from a modeller who likes OOB: http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=67184&page=1 and another more advanced, detailed build here: http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=62949&page=1 Having tackled a couple, the pros are superb surface detail and shapes, good decals and reasonable price by 2018 standards. It does supply resin parts, with the well-detailed wheel bay needing care to adequately thin, as just as with the real thing, it's at the heart of the structure and needs to not impinge or distort other components. The cockpit interior framework also needs care in assembly and fitting. Having warned you against it,.I'll also add that should you want a wheels up, closed cockpit in flight model, you could sidestep nearly all the reported difficulties and enjoy a well detailed and painted Hurricane II with B (12 x .303 MGs) or C (4 x 20mm cannon - two styles) wings. AceofClubs
Hi Chek, many thanks for the info's . Very nice kit even if imho the rivets seems a little heavy. Ciao Filippo
otis252
I'd love to see those builds, but alas there's that Photobucket thing. Chuck AceofClubs and quang
quang
+1 Chuck! The Photobucket fiasco was one of the reasons I stopped the build of my Fly Hurricane. Nevertheless I've just revisited my old thread for the sake of curiosity and ...BIG SURPRISE! ...THE PHOTOS ARE BACK! Surely a sign for me to dust off the Fly kit and revive the old WIP. If only I was not in the middle of another project â˜¹ï¸ Quang MikeMaben and otis252

Chek
Just tried again. The photos are gone. Ah well! Hi Quang, I use Chrome browser on a PC and with the add-on linked here: http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=70447&page=1 your build photos are still visible. There is a Firefox one available there too, but I don't use Firefox. However, if you do and the pics are not appearing, try installing Chrome, as they're definitely there for me.. Having two or more browsers is a fine and sensible policy anyway. Besides, I'd love to see your Hurri completed with paint on. quang
Hi Chek, I just tried Firefox with the add-on per your advise and you know what? IT WORKS! The photos are visible now. Thanks 🙠Last night I took the old girl out of her retirement and gave her a big scrubbing with soap and water to take off the grime. I reckon she's looking not too bad. Maybe it's time to pick up where I left off and revive the old thread. If only I wasn't busy building the big Trumpy Skyraider. And there's also that Revell Mustang with the swayback fillet lurking in the background 😬 Us modellers should be granted nine lives like cats.
