Mosquito PR.XVI

Looking for cockpit photos/diagrams of the cockpit for the Mossie PR.XVI. Also the forward compartment. Any help appreciated

Photos of the Mosquito PR.XVI are surprisingly rare, in my experience. The three that follow in fact show a USAAF F-8, which was essentially identical to the Mosquito PR.XVI, as far as I know:

 

 

 

 

... and finally, a drawing of the nose compartment, becasue I couldn't find even a single photo of it:

Thanks for the photos. Surprising thing is, not a bomber type yoke but a fighter type stick. Forward compartment looks the same as the bomber version except for the bomb aiming gear.

 

Yes the F.8 was the USAAF version of the PR.XVI.
